As a leader and sideman he collaborated with famous artists such as: Paolo Fresu, Palle Daniellson, Michael Brecker, Enrico Rava, Aldo Romano, Mike Stern, Vinnie Colaiuta, Albert Mangelsdorff, Bruno Tommaso, Paolo Damiani, Enzo Pietropaoli, Flavio Boltro, Furio di Castri, Manu Roche, Rita Marcotulli, Fabrizio Sferra, Greg Burk, Ares Tavolazzi, Fabio Zeppetella and many more.


As a leader he has been part of many ensembles, from duos to bands of 5 musicians amongst which we can find: Ramberto Ciammarughi, Fabrizio Sferra, Gianluca Renzi, Dario Deidda, Enzo Pietropaoli, Luca Pirozzi, Stefano Sastro, Stefano D’Anna, Francesco Puglisi, John Arnold, Massimo Manzi. In the 80s he became part of the band “Lingomania” (with Giammarco/Rea/ Pietropaoli/Gatto), historic group who was given an award in 1985 and 1987 thanks to the referendum of the National critiques, which was announced by the magazine “Musica Jazz” under the category  “Best Italian jazz band”.


With Lingomania in the 80s he participates to many concerts, international festivals and radio/tv performances in Italy and abroad. He taught in the most prestigious Italian didactic realities.
He obtained many awards from the audience and from the critics of the most important music magazines. He is the author of 3 didactic videos and 2 books. He recorded various CDs with his name and participated as a guest or as a sideman to various author music-industry projects. As to pop music, he participated as a solo player in 3 of Mina’s CDs.
