Strengths

Three-year 1st cycle academic diploma (Bachelor level) that has its roots in jazz-blues and funk to explore the countless contaminations and affinities with Soul music, contemporary rock-blues, fusion, black music, neo-soul and pop music.

During the training course, the characteristics of one’s own personal style are developed to the maximum potential, hence advanced technique, creativity, rhythmic sense, improvisation, comping and stylistic soloing, in perfect balance between Rock, Jazz-blues and Popular Music.

The study of contemporary harmony reaches out to the most advanced arrangement techniques, taking care of professional pre-production on the computer, with sequencing and virtual instruments and the development of orchestral scores for recording sessions with “real” musicians.

Each graduate acquires full mastery of the most advanced softwares offered by the contemporary industry and refines his/her skills in the recording studio as a session musician.

The students’ best recording productions are published every year by Saint Louis recording labels.

The use of pedal and rack effects: from dynamic to delay effects. Composition of a pedal board and management of it: from cabling to power supply, from the pedal disposition to the right case dimension. Amplification and direct relation with the pedals use.
