An educational working path of great stylistic specialization on one’s instrument or vocals. Students will participate in several orchestral ensembles which they will perform in numerous professional contexts such as festivals and theaters.

Once the training is complete, the student will be able to integrate into the working world. Each student will be followed step by step in the production of their original artistic projects, from writing, arranging, rehearsing, recording, mixing, and finally, publishing.

Closed number: Maximum of 20 students are selected from all tracks every year.

 

The 2nd cycle popular music courses are built around each student, for the development of his/her own artistic personality, aimed at both discographic and concert artistic productions.

INSTRUMENT

Each trainee will have 70 hours of biennial one-to-one classes and can choose to attend them with one or two teachers each year, for personalized stylistic improvement

IMPROVISATION

In-depth study of contemporary styles and languages, including experimental ones, not strictly tied to tradition and with international artists and guests.

COMPOSITION

Creative workshop aimed at the composition, elaboration, arrangement and production of original concerts and record productions for medium and large groups.

PRODUCTION

Each student will have the recording studio available to produce his/her own artistic project, in collaboration with the students of the sound engineering and electronic music courses

PROFESSIONAL POP ENSEMBLE

The students will practice and play with 2 ensembles: a permanent ensemble that rehearses all year round and holds concerts in clubs in Rome with the teacher as part of the band, and a large formation that concentrates rehearsals in one or two full-immersion weeks for concerts in theaters and recording productions

A creative project involving renowned artists and an extraordinary team of 350 young artists, musicians, arrangers, singers, sound engineers who have grown professionally within the historic Roman music school and who have the opportunity to express themselves on a prestigious stage at the alongside the biggest names in Italian and international music.
