Michelangelo Buccolini

In 2011 he began his studies at “Saint Louis College of Music”, where he graduated with honors in Heavy-Rock Guitar under the guidance of Giacomo Anselmi.

He deepens other techniques and styles with William Stravato and Franco Ventura. He studied Harmony, Ear training and Arrangement with Pierpaolo Principato, Antonio Solimene and Roberto Giglio.

Over the years he attended clinics and masterclasses of guitarists such as Guthrie Govan, Kiko Loureiro, Michael Lee Firkins, Mattias Eklundh and finally Paul Gilbert, an artist with whom he had the opportunity to play in a jam session during a masterclass organized by the Saint Louis College of Music at “La Casa del jazz” in Rome on April 4, 2017.

Over the years he carried out intense study and live activities with various formations of the Roman rock scene.
He is part of the orchestra of the theater company “La Pastocchia” with which he plays in the musicals: “ABBA – Mamma Mia!” (2014), “Rugantino” (2015), “Tale e Quale Show” (2016), “Jesus Christ Superstar” (2019).

Since 2016 he collaborates with the “Markline Handmade Guitars” brand, of which he is an endorser and for which he has designed a signature model that bears his name.

In 2017 he had the opportunity to play on the stage of the “Teatro Eliseo” on the occasion of the “Guitar Nightmare” event, together with artists such as Marco Sfogli, Giacomo Anselmi, William Stravato, Lello Panico.

In 2017 he joined the “Shanti and Songs” event agency as a member of the Pop / Dance band “All You Can Dance”.

In 2018 he deepened his studies in Finland with Teemu Mäntysaari, guitarist of the world-famous Finnish band Wintersun, specializing in the technique of “Pickslanting”.
