The Sound Engineer Marco Massimi will explain how to master audio on the computer, “In the Box”.
Operations previously reserved for mastering studies with expensive equipment is now possible to perform them in a “home studio” and still obtaining good quality mastering. During the master class, the various elements of this post-production phase will be analyzed in the DAW (Digital Audio Workstation).

Marco Massimi , graduated in Sound Design for Electronic Music and a member of the AES (audio engineers society), a graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA. From 1987 to 2011, he worked as an Audio Technician (first level) at the RAI Radiotelevisione Italiana. Since then, he has taken care of the audio recordings of the most famous Italian artists, specializing in more and more in the field of professional digital audio and its applications in multimedia.
Since 2011, he has been teaching Electroacoustics in the Conservatory and in the Master Sonic Art at the University of Tor Vergata.
He has edited the sound of artists such as Gino Vannelli, Barry White, Michael Bolton, Sting, Elvis Costello, Mother Earth, Giorgia, Ligabue, Teresa de Sio, Al di Meola, Maria Carey, Sergio Caputo, Renzo Arbore and many others.
As a freelancer, he has worked in Italy and abroad with Harbie Hancock, Peter Erskine, Tom Harrel, Henry Rava, Gary Allen, Dave Holland, Bill Frisell, Al di Meola, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, John Abercrombie, Giorgia, Rossana Casale, Tosca, Luca Barbarossa, Mutual aid bank, Scott Henderson, Hiram Bullock, Mike Stern and many others.
