Strengths

Development and research of one’s own personal style in jazz, from tradition to be-bop up to contemporary jazz, advanced playing techniques, creative use of polydrms, transcriptions and performances taken from recordings of the main music styles of jazz.
Study and use of compositional and arrangement techniques for rhythm section and five wind instruments, aimed at record and live concert productions.
Development of professional skills on sequencers and virtual instruments.

Complete development of the technique of modern singing, to face any styles and languages with awareness, taking advantage of all the nuances of one’s own vocality, full voice with the change of register, half voice, blown, spun, vibrated, compressed voice.

Each jazz singing graduate will be able to accompany him/herself professionally on the piano with a full mastery in reading acronyms, melodies, ability to build walking bass lines and use of voicings, with and without harmonic connection, for the performer and for the songwriter / arranger.

By perfecting the modal and contemporary jazz harmony, the arrangement and composition techniques, each student will create original arrangements and produce his/her own artistic project in Saint Louis recording studios.
The best works are published by the Jazz Collection label and promoted in live concerts by Saint Louis Management.
The student will acquire full mastery in the professional use of state-of-the-art music production softwares in the recording industry.

Customization of the study plan, with workshops, ensembles, orchestras, a second complementary instrument and research activities that stimulate interplay, creativity and the construction of a personal musical style.

Master classes with international artists and live performances in clubs, festivals and theaters.
