He began studying guitar at the age of 10. His first interest in blues developed into a strong passion for jazz, music genre that he studied in depth by studying guitar with Dario Lapenna at Saint Louis College of Music, attending first of all the traditional diploma and then the BA Degree in jazz.
During his studies he participated in many Masters and specialization courses amongst which the Roma Jazz’s Cool (ed. 2008 and 2011). He obtained his MA in in Communication Science at UPS in Roma, undertaking a thesis regarding the social and communication aspects of modern jazz. Currently he holds the course “Music and Communication” and UPS.
As a guitarist he took part in many ensembles, playing both in Italy and abroad. Currently he has a Trio and a Quartet with his name, in which he is also the author and the arranger. Being strongly interested in the didactic aspects of music, in 2008 he started teaching. Currently he is writing a guitar studying method based on the interaction between ear-training and the elements of the jazz guitar language and he is teaching at Saint Louis College of Music.
