Anselmi GiacomoGiacomo Anselmi

A graduate of the MUSICIANS INSTITUTE in Los Angeles. In California, the twenty-year-old guitarist had the opportunity to study rock guitar with Paul Gilbert, Marty Friedman, Jennifer Batten, Bruce Bouillet, T.J. Helmerich, Greg Howe, and among others. He studied jazz composition with Scott Henderson, analysis with Carl Schroeder, reading with David Oakes.

As for the jazz-fusion guitar, he studied and played with Scott Henderson, Frank Gambale, Mike Miller, Joe Diorio, Don Mock, Ron Eschete, Norman Brown, Wayne Johnson, and Carl Verheyen. In September 1990, Giacomo obtained the “Certificate of completion”, official diploma of the MUSICIANS INSTITUTE of Hollywood section GUITAR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY. He studied arrangement and composition with Maestro Bruno Tommaso and deepened jazz guitar with Dario Lapenna at the Saint Louis College of Music.

He collaborated for live shows, studio, radio, and television with many artists including Mario Lavezzi, Cet, Amalia Gré, Amii Stewart, Federico Salvatore, Rita Forte, New Tribes Zulu, Andrea Ra, David Colaiacomo, Daniele Vit, Enrico Capuano, Ostinato, Kim, and others. He is the author of the educational video “SOUND IN THE STYLE OF … PAT METHENY” published by PLAYGAME distributed by CARISCH.
