Screening of 26 short films, made by the young emerging directors of Rome Film Academy in collaboration with the composers of the Saint Louis College of Music, with a final vote: it will be the public that will award the Best Short and the Best Soundtrack
Final evening of the Master’s Degree in “Film Scoring” which is an innovative, educational path created by the Saint Louis College of Music in Rome that is dedicated to the composers of film music. This path is aimed at professional training and in-depth techniques, languages and musical styles that are in line with market demands in the television and film industry.
During the 8 months of intensive study, students are selected by the amount of nominations received by the Master of the Rome Film Academy, The the result of this selection is to let their works be offered to the eyes of the audience in this concluding event.
During the evening, 26 short films will be screened including 13 of the Crime genre and 13 of the Horror genre. All of the films will include a social background and were created by the 26 students of the two institutions involved in the collaboration project.
During the screening, the audience in the hall will be able to vote for their favorite short film and the best soundtrack while a technical jury will award the prize for the best original composition.
