Two choral ensembles, with over 80 elements, on the stage of the Monk in Rome 

The Saint Louis College of Music in collaboration with the Monk Club presents Flowing Chords  and  Vivid Voices  in concert. 
Two large choral ensembles, with a repertoire ranging from Italian songwriters to contemporary pop with incursions in R & B and Jazz. 
The formations are both born within a music school, the Saint Louis in Rome and the Musikhochschule in Hanover, with appearances on internships and international festivals.

Vivid Voices
Jazz-pop choir of the Musikhochschule in Hannover, founded in 2009 and directed by the jazz singer and choir director Claudia Burghard. Not only pop, jazz and opera singers, but also musicians who contribute to the birth of a unique and modern sound. The repertoire ranges from jazz songs to pop songs and traditional music Vivid Voices has collected in recent years, winning the title of “Best choir pop / jazz” in Germany and beyond.

2012 – 1st prize: Deutsches Chorfest, Frankfurt 
2013 – 1st prize: Niedersächsischer Chorwettbewerb, Wolfenbüttel 
2014 – 1st prize: Deutscher Chorwettbewer, Weimar 
2015 – 1st prize: Internationaler Chorwettbewerb, Aarhus / Dänemark 
2017 – 1st award: International Chorwettbewerb Mainhausen

Flowing Chords is a choral project initially born among the students of Saint Louis College of Music under the direction of M ° Margherita Flore. The repertoire ranges from various genres, from songwriting to contemporary pop through R & B, with original reinterpretations of cover songs proposed in a modern and dynamic, but also unpublished pieces composed by some members of the choir. The staff includes about 35 members. The choir has participated in various musical events, among which the Caffeine Jazz Festival of Viterbo, in collaboration with the Saint Louis College of Music at the Rome Festival at the Lungotevere St. Gallen along with internationally renowned artists. They also performed at the Teatro Eliseo, the Don Bosco Theater in Fabriano, the Cineteatro San Filippo Neri in San Benedetto del Tronto, at the Domus Ciancaleoni, and at the Forte dei Borgia in Nepi.
