Domenico Labanca started his autodidactic studies at the age of 8, continuing from 12 with some teachers from Lauria, his native city.
After many live performances in the whole south Italy, in 2005 he moved to Rome and enrolled at Saint Louis College of Music. He studied with Stefano Mastruzzi, Gianfranco Gullotto, Marco Siniscalco, Pier Paolo Principato, Josè Fiorilli, Stefano Senesi, Michele Papadia, Andrea Rosatelli, Massimo Varini, Lello Panico, Roberto Giglio, Dario Zeno, Carlo Mezzanotte, Alessandro Gwis and others.
In 2012 he earned the Diploma in Pop Piano and Keyboards at Saint Louis College of Music joining the teaching staff in 2013. He has collaborated in many musical productions recording in some important roman studios with various rising artists as a musician and arranger.
He has collaborated with many bands as a live session pianist, keyboard player, hammond player, Synth and Computer programmer. He played in the opening act of a BB King italian tour date of at the Auditorium Parco della Musica and he is currently active with Iseiottavi (Rino Gaetano tribute band). He has many original projects: Capobanda, Mirkoelicane, and many participation in orchestras as a session-man.
