The singer-songwriter Diodato returns to perform with Roy Paci , with whom he participated in the Sanremo 2018 Festival with the song “Adesso”, flanked by the Saint Louis Pop Orchestra , an extraordinary orchestra of over 30 musicians directed by Maestro Vincenzo Presta.
The “Special Guest” Festival , now in its third edition, comes from the collaboration of Saint Louis College of Music with the Teatro Eliseo . Great concerts with national and international artists, special guests of Saint Louis resident bands and orchestras.
A creative project that involves famous artists and an extraordinary team of 350 young artists, musicians, arrangers, singers, sound technicians who have grown professionally within the historic school of Roman music and who have the opportunity to express themselves on a prestigious stage at alongside the biggest names in Italian and international music.

Diodato debuted in April 2013 with And maybe sono pazzo. The record immediately aroused interest and was well reviewed on various national newspapers; with the revisitation of “Amore che vieni, amore che vai” by Fabrizio De Andrè which was included in the album, Diodato participates in the soundtrack of the film by Daniele Luchetti Anni felice. In February 2014, Diodato participates in the 64th Sanremo Festival in the “New Proposals” category with the song Babylon. Winning second place in the overall standings and compliments from the quality jury, Mina on Vanity Fair cited the song as one of the best of the whole festival.
In June 2014, he won the “MTV Best New Generation” award and performed on the stage of the MTV Awards live on television from the Parco delle Cascine in Florence in front of 30,000 people. Summer 2014 was a succession of concerts that have touched important music festivals such as the Cateraduno2014, Rome Incontra il Mondo, Pistoia Blues (at the beginning of the Negramaro), Meraviglioso Modugno and the Sziget Festival in Budapest. On October 27, 2014, he released A Ritrovar Bellezza, a record containing all the songs interpreted during the collaboration with Che Tempo Che Fa. Manuel Agnelli also participated in the album, with which he duet in La voce del silenzio and again Roy Paci and Velvet Brass with which he reviews the splendid Arrivederci by Bindi.
In 2017, he published the album Cosa sono become a and ran Italy with What We Have Become Tour after which he won the award as best performer by Keep On Live, the circuit of Italian live clubs. In December 2017, his participation in the 68th Sanremo Festival was announced in the champions category with the song Now with his friend and colleague Roy Paci. The song received the praise of the critics and the public, who decree it one of the most popular songs of the Festival. On the radio, it was among the most played Sanremo songs, it came in the top 10 iTunes and in streaming it reached the top 3 of Spotify Viral and was inserted in the most important Italian playlists.
In May, Diodato returned to the stage with the single To be simple, while he announced the summer stages of the tour – which lasted until October – and the participation in Medimex, the Collisioni Festival, the Gaber Festival, the Giffoni Film Festival and the RadioCity Milan.
In February, he returned to the stage of the Ariston as a guest of Ghemon, with whom he redid the piece Rose Viola with the Caliber 35s. Diodato also appeared with a cameo in the film An adventure with Laura Chiatti and Michele Rondino, where he reinterpreted the famous piece of the same name by Lucio Battisti.

Born in Augusta (Syracuse) in 1969, he began playing the piano as a child and landed on the trumpet at the age of ten.
During the 35 years of his career, he realized and participated in more than 500 albums, collaborating with the likes of Manu Chao, Mike Patton, Negrita, The Ex, Vinicio Capossela, Gogol Bordello, Macaco, 99 Posse, Daniele Silvestri, Bombino, Caparezza, Hindi Zahra, Ivano Fossati, Subsonica, Piero Pelù, Marlene Kuntz, Frankie Hi-nrg, Tony Levin and many others.
He has made soundtracks for cinema, TV, and theater, receiving various awards including the prestigious Nastro d’Argento and a David di Donatello nomination.
With his band Aretuska, he has set European and Latin American stages on fire, creating a hybrid but personal sound that marries his Mediterranean roots with Latin rhythms such as samba and cumbia, as well as ska, reggae, R & B and Jazz.
His active projects are Roy Paci & Aretuska, Banda Ionica, Corleone, and Orchestra del Fuoco.
For 5 years, he has been the artistic director of the Uno Maggio Taranto.
Among the latest releases, on January 17, 2017 Fight for Freedom: Tribute to Muhammad Ali (Etnagigante) in collaboration with Remo Anzovino: the album is the original soundtrack of the film From Clay to Ali, the metamorphosis (Sky , 3D and the Republic), by Emanuela Audisio published on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the birth of Muhammad Ali. At the end of September of the same year, preceded by two singles, Tira (with a text written by Daniele Silvestri) and Revolution, Valelapena (Etnagigante / Artist First) came to life in the sixth album by Roy Paci & Aretuska.

In the last season of Greek Tragedies at the Greek Theater of Syracuse, he was an actor and author of the music of I Cavalieri by Aristofane directed by Giampiero Solari.
On July 20th, the last single Roy Paci & Aretuska made was entitled Salvagente (Etnagigante / Artist First), with the participation of Willie Peyote, one of the most brilliant rappers at the moment. A track with a funky groove in which the winds undoubtedly make a master, where the notes do not look at differences in age, gender or ethnicity and give us the opportunity to appreciate the mood of those who welcome any kind of confrontation .
In February 2019, he did a duet with the Negrita and Enrico Ruggeri at the 69th edition of the Sanremo Festival and for some months, he had been working on his first theatrical show Carapace, written in collaboration with the director Pablo Solari, who saw him in March on stage as an actor as well as a musician, accompanied by the Corleone Ensemble.
