DIANA WINTER

Her study of classical and fingerstyle guitar began early, under guidance of Maestro Nuccio D’Angelo. She studied vocals and foundations of Afro-American music with Maestro Past. Nehemiah H. Brown at Florence Gospel Choir School.

Since 2007 she has released two solo albums (Warner / Indiana Records) collaborating with Toots Thielemans, Phil Gould, Mike Lindup (Level 42), Fabio Balestrieri and performing in Italy, England, Holland, Germany, Austria, Belgium.

She was the vocalist for the renowned Italian singer Giorgia in the “Spirito Libero” Tour (2009) and “Dietro le Apparenze” Tour (2012), ‘Pop Heart Tour’ (2019) ​in which context she also recorded the Featuring “Vieni Fuori”.
She got a Degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Florence.

She completed and Advanced Training Course in Artistic Vocology at Alma Mater University of Bologna directed by Franco Fussi.
She participated as vocalist and acoustic guitar player in 2 Tours of the Italian singer Noemi – the “Cuore d’Artista” Tour (2016) and “La Luna” Tour (2018).
She is endorser of Iqs Strings and Eko Guitars.

Master’s Degree, 110 Cum Laude, obtained in the Didactic Department of the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome.
Since 2017, she is the music director and she presents the XXII Human Rights Meeting at the Nelson Mandela Forum of Florence.
