Dario ZenoDario Zeno

He starts learning the piano very early, under guidance of M° Antonio Solimene who prepares him both for the first exams in the Conservatoire and for the jazz study. With M° Alessandra Brucker, he gets his Diploma in 2004 as external student, attaining a 9/10 final in Conservatorio“Lorenzo Perosi “of Campobasso.

Alongside the studies he carries out an intense activity both as pianist and keyboards player in several jazz, fusion, pop groups, in recording studios and live actively collaborating with well-known artists such as: Eddie Anderson, Gavin Harrison, Pietro Condorelli , Dario Salvatori, Nino D’Angelo, Marcello Coleman, Alessandro Safina, etc.

In 2000 he founds a jazz trio in his name, with which he plays in several Italian festivals, among which “Nick La Rocca European Jazz Festival 2003”
In 2003 he wins, with the Dario Zeno Trio, the “Petrucciani Award” adjudging the first 2 prizes: “best soloist” and “best original song”.
In the same year he joins the “Tribunal Mist Jazz Band”, an orchestra with which he performs in the most renowned Italian festivals, such as: Umbria Jazz (2004, 2005, 2006, 2007), Ischia Jazz (2004, 2006).


With this same orchestra he records its second album “Note Autorizzate”.
He takes part in the realization of the didactic DVD “Rythmic Horizons” by Gavin Harrison.
Since a few years he is engaged in theatre productions with “Teatro Segreto”, under the artistic direction of Ruggero Cappuccio.
Since 2003 he is a music educator, both in private and public Institutions.
