Saint Louis was founded in 1976 and it is one of the most renowned music colleges in Europe, attended by over 1.800 students per year.
Saint Louis has always been involved in international relations and events, believing that an international dimension can help the didactic and personal growth of both students and staff.
Since the creation of the Erasmus+ program in 2014, Saint Louis has consolidated many partnerships with foreign Universities and is constantly committed to creating new ones. At Saint Louis, a multicultural environment is valued as a key factor for an artist’s growth and for the quality of education, and foreign students are welcomed and encouraged to apply! Students from universities that are not yet partners with our Institution, and who are interested in spending a semester or a year with us, are welcome to contact us through their international office!
The International Office at Saint Louis, is a friendly team, made up by staff who has a strong passion for intercultural exchanges and therefore is always willing to help the students with any issues regarding their study period. Info and active support is given to the students upon arrival, and all through their stay, on issues such as visa, housing, living in Rome, language issues and much more.
Specific info for students arriving at the University can be found in more specific pages of our English website.
The ECTS system is used here at Saint Louis, together with the Italian grading system.

LIVING IN ROME:
General info about living in Rome can be seen at: http://www.saintlouiscollege.eu/en/home-ingl/living-in-rome
Our students are always very interested in participating in international programs, and staff and teachers are always involved. Diversity and being open-minded are strongly promoted at our institution!
From January to June, Saint Louis organizes weekly live events where students of the University can perform in various clubs in Rome. During these occasions, foreign students can perform, get to know Italian and foreign students at Saint Louis, and also the international staff in a very laid back atmosphere.
Also, Italians are by culture very talkative and friendly, so even students with a very basic knowledge of Italian who are interested in learning our language will always have a chance to practise!
